Potential and business opportunities on the Nigerian market
31 July 2014, Grand Hotel Primavera
On Thursday 31 July 2014, at the Grand Hotel Primavera (RSM), the first workshop organized by the IDC International Development Center business Group, on the subject of “Potential and business opportunities on the Nigerian market", took place.
The event featured a number of Italian investors and business personalities; it marked the completion of a wide-ranging development project, whose aim was to help Italian companies increase their business by taking advantage of the concrete investment and internationalisation opportunities offered by foreign countries which are undergoing rapid economic growth, most notably - for example - the Nigerian market.
The proceedings were introduced by Mario Guaraldi, one of the most dynamic and proactive publishers on the contemporary printing scene, founder of the publishing house Guaraldi Editore Srl; the speakers at the workshop also included several key business players from Italy and Nigeria, such as Quinto Protti, Fabrizio Cardillo and Maria Omiabgo.
Mention should be made in particular of the detailed report by Barr A. U. Mustapha, attorney-at-law, who gave an overview of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, then highlighted the incredible opportunities for business development which the Nigerian market can offer Italian companies wishing to turn their investment into tangible and concrete results.
The protagonist of the conference was undoubtedly the " Digitalprint Nigeria Limited Publishing Centre", which is expected to become the major publishing centre in Western Africa, as well as throughout the continent, not only in terms of publications and activities completed, but also because of the outstanding quality and innovation levels achieved through the technologies implemented there.
The new Digitalprint Nigeria Publishing Centre, inaugurated at the end of 2014, will actually avail itself of cutting-edge technological resources, produced in Italy for the publishing and graphics industry, as well as of the technical skills and know-how derived from the Italian experience.
